About Me

Growing up, I always saw my Italian mother in the kitchen preparing some goodie or another.  The kitchen was a kind of sanctuary in my home, a room whose threshold you did not cross.
As a wife and mother, I realized that the kitchen was a place not to be feared but to be experienced.  Initially, I gave into the whole frozen dinners and prepared meals fad but I am happy to say that I now find cooking, baking, and discovery new recipes to be not only enjoyable but also an adrenaline rush.
Other than my family and the kitchen in my home, my interests include reading, writing, and enjoying an active healthy lifestyle!
